Re: Fencing panels

Wow, that's some size of garden Emma. Love the stone planters and the bird bath. Those fence panels will frame the garden beautifully!

Re: Fencing panels

Thanks, the garden is a nice managable size (about 100 ft x 47 ft) but it really needs some borders to add some interest and I have got loads of plants in the borders by the bungalow to put in the borders down the garden (decided to to move these as they get in the way of cleaning the windows)

Re: Fencing panels

Those are lovely borders Emma will you turn the garden into a circle so to speak with the borders making them sweep round so to speak or keep the borders squarish keeping the garden square? does that make sense?

Re: Fencing panels

I would prefer to have sweeping borders Kazz, I think this would make the garden look even longer, I think squarish ones will shorten the garden.

I have got some lovely yukka type plants I can put in the borders as well as a rather large passion flower, so I will have some climbers going up the fence.

What do you think??

Sounds great really good may be worth investing in an extra panel or two and maybe putting them in front of your shed at an angle maybe to the fence and putting come climbers up them or maybe a panel coming out from an angle to the opposite side to you you can't see the whole garden at once from anyone place but but have to walk up to seeit all? I am not making sense am I?

Re: Fencing panels

Thanks Sweet.

I know what you mean Kazz, I already have some trellis up in front of my shed so I think I am covered on that side. On the other side I am a bit unsure. The borders I was thinking of doing would be perhaps a little bit deeper than that photo.

We are also thinking of putting a pathway down the garden and I might put some srubs in near the pathway as well.

I was thinking of putting bricks laid on their side to "edge" the borders this would mean that the OH would find it easlier when mowing the lawn and also would save time edging
