Re: Daffs, Magnolia's & budding Acers

Emma, I'd love to help come up with some ideas...did a landscape design once for friend and he liked it; but that was only a small City yard! If there were another way besides flying, which I'm terrified of, nothing I'd like better than to come to the UK and meet my cyberfriends...especially at the Catsey meet-up in June! However...happy to put in my two cents worth from across the pond..!!

I don't have a VCR! Gave up on them finally... each lasted about 2 years then started chewing up tapes, even though i was meticulous about using the head-cleaning tapes...after the third one died, I just threw up my hands and quoted Poe's raven.....

Excellent idea Kazz!!! I have a video recorder, DM what I could do is take some footage of the garden, compress it down to a video file and email it to you, you "should" be able to view it in real player or windows media player

Re: Daffs, Magnolia's & budding Acers

Ok, perhaps I will start a new thread titled "emma's propsed new garden" and post up dimensions and photos of what it looks like at the moment and let see what we can come up with, it won't be until the end of the summer until the fence is up though, so the thread might go a bit cold for a bit

I'm comfortably retired, not rich! And who would look after Leia and feed my poor little stray Onyx while I was gallivanting on the high seas! As to a video, I don't know what real player is, and I have a Mac, not a PC with Windows. Maybe something like that might be possible on a Mac, but think we'd need Tom to help with that!

As the designated drinker here, I might quibble about that, Kazz!! Although I think Jerrysmom might have her eye on the position......
