I think maybe naivety has a lot to do with it rather than any deliberate desire to deceive (but I tend to look for the good in people/situations . . . ) |

Heheh I am the same as Yola... I was thinking if she was desperate for just that breed and stretched herself financially to get it or paid over the odds.... Still doesn't excuse it tho I guess |

As a breeder I would be appalled if one of my kittens new owners had done this. If you can afford to buy a pedigree then you should take on the expense of having it neutered. I do not work due to my kids disabilities and therefore I am on benefit but I have never expected the PDSA etc to pick up the tab for my choice of pedigree cat. If I was the breeder I would want to know about this and I would then refuse to sell them a kitten. If they can't afford the neutering, which they knew about when buying the kitten, how are they going to cope with unexpected vet bills. I would be really worried for my kittens if it was me. |
