Re: Jerry :)

Maybe long-lost litter mates?!

Before I joined Catsey and got Darcy and Minsky I had only seen older tabbies that were all girls with very thin stripes. Equally adorable but I didn't realise you could get tabbies with such big stripes! And suddenly they're popping up everywhere

Re: Jerry :)

Ah yes Merlin is definately a cousin, does that make Darcy a nephew perhaps?

Re: Jerry :)

Ah, now this could get complicated! Merlin is I am sure the oldest tabby on the forum - hence Uncle Merlin. If Jerry is his cousin and Anakin is his nephew, well Darcy could be another nephew or a cousin - whichever he would pre-furrrrr!

Whether Belle in North Wales is a distant relative I am not sure!?

Re: Jerry :)

Probably a newphew since he's only a young lad at 2 1/2 That would make Minsky a nephew too, but he's a white-marked tabby, in a league of his own

Re: Jerry :)

Are there other tabbies on the forum that need to go on this family tree?

Perhaps we need to start a Tabby Thread, but don't want others to think that it's elitist in any way!!!!

You could add Sam and JJ, they are going to be like Merlin and Jerry when they grow....

Re: Jerry :)

I hope it wouldn't seem elitist, I was just struck by quite how similar Jerry and Darcy were. Like I said, nearly identical apart from the front leg markings. And 2 1/2 you say?! Indeed, they may be long-lost litter mates! Is Jerry a big boy? Darcy weighs just under 6 kilos and is quite 'bengal-ish' in size and shape.

Jerry is a lovely boy I am so envious (in a good way!) that you have your gorgeous feline friends AND choccy dog!!
