Yes indeed they can really hurt. Toots isnt so bad but Joseph has a knack of grabbing me by the hair as i go near the cage or stand.
I havent taken any pics of the macaws or anything else as it can unsettle them a little.

they look lovely - didn't know they have red tails! These beaks certainly look like they'd make a bruise pretty easily.
