i didn't know there was a chat room either... but when im most of you are snoring your head off... sometimes Eileen and i will PM each other.. ayway.. i learnt something new today... actaully more than one thing...
1. there is a chat room
2. no one goes in there
3. Elaine enjoys dressing up as random animals and being filmed... (well its true according to the posts!!)

Sorry - I was having time out last evening (watching the tv) and missed all this. I too resolve to always look at the Chat Room - I knew it was there, but there never seems to be much to read - it all gets deleted after a short time.

Perhaps we all just need to leave our footprints there ...........

This seems to be a very valid complaint/discussion point.
Can somebody remind me why the Chat Room was set up? Were there too many 'funnies' in normal chat? Were there complaints? I don't recall that but maybe I was on sabbatical when it all happened.
There is a more serious/less frivolous air about the site now - not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing; just stating what I see as the position.
Is there a case for asking the management for a rethink? Removal of the Chat Room and everything showing up on New Posts?
If so - do it! Go for it!

Hiya all I kno we have a chat room but never used it although I know some post have been moved there once there I must admit I ignore them.

I think no complaint but an opinion that this site is too small for a chat room............other than that a solution could be instead of using Non cat chat we use the chat room instead for the daily thread etc.....use the chat room like we now use non cat chat....?...ie bypass the non cat chat.

This is the problem I have, I always check new posts and I hardly remember to check the chat room or games bit and I always miss the quiz too. I think we should have like dogsey where you have all new posts and dog related posts only instead of just 'new posts'.
