I know it's no laughing matter, but I am afraid I had to laugh at this bit in the report - "The man who found Oi! Kitty was initially dismissed as crazy and told to "sleep it off" when he told his wife that a pink cat had flown into their garden after returning from the pub." It just brings to life the story my mum and dad used to tell about one Christmas Eve and a goat with a straw hat on.... but that's another story!!! (that's quite apart from the badly worded sentence, sounds as if the cat had come back from the pub and flown into the garden ........ ) |

Seems according to the link that Mags put up, that Pink's owner did the dyeing. The RSPCA have returned the puss to this owner and no prosecution will be taken. The owner has her own hair dyed pink and thought she'd like to have a pink cat. Maybe she should have just bought a new matching handbag! |
