Eileen - the sloes we picked today were from Catherington Down, which is an ancient piece of terraced farmland not very far from us. It is owned by the Council and open to the public. Truth - We like sloe vodka better than gin, but I like the idea of spicing it up a bit ..... may give that a go this year, thanks for the suggestion. |
