Come ON Eva . . . you can overcome this! Elaine, whilst it's good and not so good news, the overall journey seems a positive one. I hope Eva continues to fight to get better. |

I've been thinking about Eva and concentrating on her lovely picture with the daisies. Such a lovely, pretty focus. Stay strong Elaine and keep hoping - don't worry about sweating buckets, as farthing said if we don't care we shouldn't have them. ((((HUGS)))) |

The specialist has just rang. Eva ate very very well yesterday but hasnt eaten so well today. They are not overly concerned but will moniter her eating over night. She is still yellow but doesnt glow in the dark any more, her skin is stained so she will be yellow for quite a while. The bloods show a small improvement to her liver and a suggestion that the bile is flowing a bit better. More bloods tomorrow. She has wet herself once or twice and wont allow them to clean her up, so she is a little smelly. She cannt clean herself as they have put a buster collar on to stop her from constantly pulling her tubes out. If all goes well tonight and tomorrow, I may be able to go pick her up at the end of the week. She will still have the gastric tube in place so I can medicate her as she is on 10 different meds at the minute which will have to be administered twice daily. Fingers crossed for continued improvement. |
