It's quite different going from worried mum to 24 hour nurse. Practical planning beforehand will help no end. ((((HUGS)))) - do hope she'll be able to come home as soon as you are both ready. |

Thats a good improvement, glad you'll get her home soon if all continues to go well! Wow, all those medications! Could the dog stay for a short bit with friends so Eva would be less stressed until she's better? |

I hate the days when I can't log in to check up on the progress of critical news - however, the good news is now just beginning to outweight the bad for eva - what a girl! It is really positive that you can now start to plan for her coming home |

I'm terrified, hardly slept a wink all night. Terrified that I wont be able to cope, terrified I cannt get any one to come on the long drive with me, but most of all terrified that she crashes when she gets home and I lose her anyway. |

Your worries are completely natural Elaine, but I think, for Eva's sake (and your own sanity) you need to remain positive and calm (easier said than done, I know). Would it be better for her to remain in Edinburgh until she has stabilised a little further? I know cost is probably an issue as I bet it's not cheap but for your own peace of mind might it be best? |
