Is there such a thing as an animal dietician? I know you have vets that specialise in behavioural problems maybe there's one that will specialise in food allergies and digestive problems. Certainly worth a search . . . . |

That was an excellent suggestion; never thought of anyone who specialized in animal nutrition and/or allergies...do hope there's such a person within a reasonable distance!!! |

One loose stool does not a problem make, if things were going on normaly you wouldn't notice a loose poo but because you are monitoring her every movement (excuse the pun) it seems like the end of the world. The dietician suggestion of Yola's is brilliant. Something I would never have thought of. But can't see why she can't stay on the fish diet if it works for her surely the fact she has solid poo's and is feeling great on it and you are at ease is the important thing. To get her bigger/older and stronger before moving on may be if she is allergic to something she may grow out of it as people do some people can't tolerate certain foods yet as they get older than can she may be the same. No point worrying over a loose poo Imean look how far WE have come with this - always the bright side. A short time ago a semi solid would have been cause for celebration, now it should not be cause for concern. |

I hope yesterday was just a 'one-off' Alex. Maybe she had been a naughty girl and sneaked some forbidden food? I'd give her a dose of the granules and continue with the fish. Good luck |

She has been given a dose of the granules DM, so we will see how she does tonight. Wont be able to update you for a few days as I wont be on until at least Wednesday after tonight, so hopefully she will be okay while 'up the road'. |
