I have also sent details to our local Cats Protection branch. It will be interesting to see if I get any response at all. When I was looking for a Kompanion for Kizzy, they did not reply at all. I'll give it until Monday, and then phone up. Trouble is, there is a number for the general public and then you seem to need to know the name of the person you want to talk to. Duh ................... mmmmmmmmmmm! That's enough to put folk off phoning then. |

How sad about Joe, good age though and a nice way to go..... Squiffy looks very endearing. I agree about arranging to have his bits removed - be doing everyone a favour. Good luck with him, seems he has rather attached himself to you. x |

I wonder if you could find a stall at a 'function' for the CP, and get talking- that's what happened with Mr Tomsk and he is booked in on Monday for his bits to be removed. As I got talking to the ladies at the stall, it turned out one was a co-ordinator, and offered straight away to help.  I have tried to find his owner but no luck, and to be honest if he has any they don't deserve him, he's entire, covered in ticks and was out in all weather over the winter. The CP lady did say a lot get dumped at the agricultural mart just behind us and then spread.  |

It's making that first contact that seems almost impossible with our branch! I have done a little flyer this afternoon and am going to stick it up and post it in various places around the village which is not a large area and see if anyone puts their hands up and owns him. OH seems kinda smitten with him too which is lucky but we are trying not to get too attached just in case his real owner turns up. |

Not much of an "owner" IMO! I hope no one comes forward and you can have him fixed and he can join the family. |
