Sorry, I am only just catching up with this. Are you sure you saw contractions? Is she eating ok? what is her behaviour/mood like at the minute

O geez LOL!! Not December. May. Too many things at once. LOL. sry. She eating and acting totally fine. I called the vet and they said as long as she seems fine not to wry till after the due date. I just thought it was weird. And Im pretty sure the were contraction might have been kicking. Im not 100% sure.

She is having trouble reaching around to lick her butt though. LOL. Is that normal?? I was reading that they ususally do it when labor is approaching, but she cant reach

I agree with your vet, I wouldn't worry if she is eating and fine in herself until after the last due date has come and gone. Often if they are quite large they do struggle to wash their bank ends...don't worry it all sounds normal. Keep us updated

Hi Jess
Dont worry too much about her not being able to reach her back end to lick it. Mally was exactly the same and couldnt reach. I spent a good three weeks cleaning her bum for her lol but then when it really mattered somehow she made herself reach lol. She made me wait nearly a week past her first mating due date and three days past the last one

Any news yet?
