Don't know when I am showing next. I have only ever shown 5 of my three but now only 1 of them is showable and unfortunately Kisses has decided to drop her coat. I can't show Tate anymore as he has had an op on his eyes and it has left scarring, at least I made him up to Champion. Leila's eye colour has faded which is very common for a colourpoint carrier, she is also a champion. Angel just hated it and I won't put her through that and Jill has a dark tummy patch now. Hopefully I will also be getting new babies this year, a boy and a girl. As for showing your moggy yes he would have to be neutered and fully vaccinated. Anymore questions give me a shout.

Yes he is fully vaccinated. What age do they have to be neutered for showing purposes and is it the same for queens too? Thanks Kay. Shame you are out of the showing circuit at the minute, I am thinking of trying to get to one or two to get a feel for things

All housedhold pets both male and female have to be neutered before they are 9 months. It would be a good idea for you to go to some shows to get the feel and showing your moggyes is ideal. Whereabouts in Yorkshire are and I can let you know of any up and coming shows and the details. If you wanted I would willing come along with you to show you the ropes. See I am really missing it.

Awwww thanks Kay for that. I went on the GCCF website and I think there is a show in Nottinghamshire later this month. There doesn't seem to be too many shows up the north of England, they all seem to be down south We are in Sheffield how far away from you are we? I don't know where Anglesey is

The Notts and Derby show is on the 21st January but you won't be able to enter that as the closing date for entries has well and truely gone. Entries close about 6 weeks in advance of the show. You could go along as a visitor to have a look round but you can't go in till after dinner, actual times vary but it is usually about 1.00pm. If you are wanting to enter a show you best start looking for shows that are March onwards. There are plenty of shows up your way but sometimes you have to travel quite a bit. My local show is one and a half hours drive away an average drive for me is three hours. I will have a look on my list for you. Anglesey is North Wales and is probably about 3 hours away. No distance at all.

It's not that bad, Fran, once you are used to it all. There is the Lancashire show at Wigan on the 11/03, Preston & Blacpool, Blackpool,25/03 and the best one for you to go to is on 8/04 at Chapeltown, Sheffield the Northern Siamese. I have got the address of the show managers for you to send off for your schedules. So come get those moggies entered. If you need a hand filling out entry forms etc just let me know.

Kay

Re: Kitten pics...

Thanks Kay! I know about the one in Chapeltown but I think it is just for Siamese. I was hoping to show my new meezer baby at that show but obviously if I get the tortie Oriental baby I won't be able to show that with it being a Siamese show I will go along to that show for definite though...
