I have just rung the vets and Tate has woken up after his op. He is still very groggy but that is to be expected as he only had the op about an hour ago. They have managed to put the contact lens in and have stitched the third eyelid over it. He has been neutered as well. I have got to ring back at 2.00pm to see when I can pick him up. Thanks everyone for your best wishes. They are very much appreciated. |

I'm so glad to hear that he's come through the op, Kay. Poor little fella. He really is having a tough time I hope this means that his eye won't have to be removed. |

Thanks Charlie. It is just a matter of time to see if this works. I rang them again at 2.00pm as they said and they made an appointment for me to pick him up at 4.30 so I will be off soon. It is just such a relief that he came through the op because of his heart murmur. Next will be trying to sort hat out!! |
