Well Luke Maddy was a mental case with them. She just thought "Oh yes! More little kitty playmates!", and she could have easily stomped on one or swiped at one, not on purpose but just in play. What I did was bring her in a couple of times a day, or take out a kitten and let her have a sniff, but then it was safe in my hands. And I just did that untill they were older and able to 'leg it' if they wanted, (about 6 weeks) then I introduced them as you will have introduced Bella to Ralph in the first place. By this time the kittens are well used to the dogs anyway and the dogs don't bother so much as they are also used to the kittens. What you do want to be careful in, is over-doing it and having an adverse affect on the kittens and having them end up hating dogs for life. I found it best to get them used to the scent of the dogs while they cannot see, then when they can see they aren't as scared of what it is they have been sniffing the past 2 weeks. |

5 Days old, and growing like mushrooms! Family shot..  Ma & one of the little girls..[i think she is to be named Twix by her new owners]  The big boys  Mugshots.. Little girl number one, yet to be named by future owners [going to one of my best friends familys.]  Little girl number two, apparently to be called Twix going too family friends..  Little boy number one, Maxwell who will stay here with us..  Little boy number two, yet to be named and will be living just across the road with neighbours of ours, im not strangling him! the boys always lie withtheir heads between your fingers, but looks blinking brutal!  Can't believe how big they already are! |
