That is exactly what Sidney has Emma, blood in stools and sick. The vet did say that he has seen a lot of cats recently with the same symptoms, I am sure this hot weather doesn't help. Sidney does go outside, but usually not much furher than the garden and he is indoors for a lot of the time too.
Thankfully, the medication seems to be working as he seems much perkier and even ate a little food this morning. He is such an adorable cat, so loving and such a character, his deformity just makes him more appealing. He often needs help to jump down from chairs, the sofa etc as he find this difficult. I have never seen him this unwell and we were worried, it made us realise how much we really love this little chap, he really has stolen our hearts. I never forget when my friend first saw him, she burst into tears because of his deformity and how well he manages.
One of my favourite pics of him.
