Probably shouldn't have bought the newts into this thread Smudgely, sorry but I must have read it somewhere - I don't usually dream about newts! Mags - "The great crested newt is listed on Annexes II and IV of the EC Habitats Directive and Appendix II of the Bern Convention. It is protected under Schedule 2 of the Conservation (Natural Habitats, etc.) Regulations, 1994, (Regulation 3 and Schedule 5 of the WCA 1981." Why not call her Newt............ a talking point, I like the name Chancer, and I like the guide dog link, what about Brownie (step down from the guides). Or Summer given she was found in the Summer. Or May down to the month? Sure she is gorgeous who has her you????? |
