Elaine, glad Bernie went on ok, it's great news about his teeth and FIV status. Jerry once had a very low potassium level, we had no idea anything was wrong untill one morning he crashed and was lying in what is called a meatloaf position. He was unable to walk, as soon as he went on treatment he was right as rain.Interestingly the potassium tablets were for humans. |

I am familiar with the term meatloafing. A similar thing happened to my old fella, Winston, when he was diagnosed with CRF. I am sure Bernie wont get to that as I will be keeping a very close eye on him. Have to tell you all, he is just full of beans today, havent seen him quite as playful for a while now. But then maybe I miss these things being away on house sits so often. |

Yeah, I just got the wrong end , I was looking for something that was the cause of his gingivitis and instead we picked up on his urinary tract. I'm sure he will be fine though. |

Check up for Mr Boo tomorrow, he is doing well but has lost a little weight. Currently trying to get a urine sample. I'm pretty sure he is fine and it's just routine. |
