Re: Mini's not well ....

That sounds positive! So stop kicking yourself and have a cold drink to celebrate the absence of oh-noes!

Do you think a cold-water "bottle" might help her when she gets back, if the weather is still hot? I.e. the same thing as you fill with hot water to warm your feet on, but with cold water?

Re: Mini's not well ....

Good idea. Don't have a 'water' hottie (coldie) just gel/microwave ones. However, do have quite a lot of cool-pacs (you know, frozen blocks to keep your picnic/shopping cold. Put a couple of them under a load of towels? Mmm.

Have to go and water the allotment but a beer or two after that sounds good!

Glad things are looking more positive. Make sure she drinks plenty in this hot weather - maybe a pet fountain thingy?

Excellent idea. Unless she burrows much? Suppose you could always tie the towels on, if she does. I've done the same for the hottie for Rover last winter.

Not sure how I have missed this thread. Sorry to hear about Mini DM, but relieved and pleased that the news sounds so much more poistive!! This heat doesn't really suit dogs and the older cats. {{hugs}} to you.
