It was November 1945 when he sailed back to England, he'd been married 5 years and seen his wife for 2 months. He always said the bomb saed his life he and many other would have died if they had been there much longer.

But pleased you eventually managed to make the chains, peace would be a fitting tribute to every solider I would think.
Very sad story Kazz. I think the general message in church yesterday was for peace, they weren't saying it was right or wrong although of course many, many lost their lives. I totally understand what you are saying though. Some situations just don't have a 'perfect' solution
