OMG, poor Rover! Hope he gave as good as he took! Not that I approve of cat fighting, but some feline has been guilty of lese majeste!! The nerve! Please give him a scritch from me, and a wish for a speedy recovery! |

I don't know which of the cats he had a disagreement with. I think it may be the tom. If the neighbours' cat thinks she's in season again (she's been neutered years ago, no-one told the cat ^^), Rover may have tried to defend her against the enemy like he did last time. Last time we were outside when he was, and he wasn't out for very long at a time. I hope that that is it, so soon the tom won't have as strong an incentive to barge in on Rover's turf, and Rover won't be as tetchy because his big sister is acting oddly. |

Sounds as if he may have been trying to be chivalrous! Poor Rover - hope the tom came off worse and will be scared off bothering the neighbour's princess (can't call her a queen, can we if she's been "done"?) |

Seeing that the tom is wide, smooth and only scared of people, I doubt it. : / Rover will just have to learn to be a less paws-on gentlecat. ^_^ |
