That's what makes me laugh when you go to the opticians and they are offering half price frames and you think you are getting a good deal.......until you see how much they charge you for the lens

I don't wear mine all the time but I got varifocals this time and they cost me close on £300

I have glasses for close reading as I have what the nasty optician calls mature eyesight(cheek)They cost me £197 for the two pairs, which incidentally are now i pair as I sat on the others...

Not sure we are having it fixed Moli, we are considering cutting our losses and scrapping it. It's a shame it is a really lovely car but it has only done 40K miles and the engine has gone The garage has said it has never seen anything as bad and it is far too big a job for them to tackle. It would have to go to a Rover specialist and we have been told that if we do have it repaired it may never run right again
