Re: All of us in pictures

Hello stitch!!! Now, you're going to have to change your location. Youre definitely standing by the kitchen window and NOT under the stairs

Seriously - lovely to meet you too, I love the feathering of your hair around the face. Did you have a lot cut off?

I think it's great to see all our new friends

Re: All of us in pictures

Meep, yes, I was lucky to have inherited the non-greying gene along with the thin limp hair. The lipstick is a generational thing: on the bus every day I see all these attractive young women without it, and all us oldies are wearing it..

For the life of me I cannot recall my previous mental image; somehow it seems to have been wiped out from the circuits once I saw the real you! It's happened to me here before; had an idea, and the person looked nothing like what I'd assumed. The mind is such a strange thing. isn't it?

Stitch, lovely to meet you also! And nice hair, like the cut!

I'm glad Mags resurrected this thread!

Re: All of us in pictures

To be honest, I picture everyone by their cats.... Not as if the cats are typing, but I see Leia as this kind, motherly, American cat who enjoys gardening and cooking! That is a bit strange isn't it?!

I of course also had images of everyone here. I was shocked to see Yola didn't look like her avatar, with purple hair I guess just because it's what we're used to seeing everyday! And for the record, lime green is so NOT my colour!

Re: All of us in pictures

That last post didn't make much sense, ignore my end-of-stressful-workday ramblings.

It is a great thread! I managed to see half the pages today so quite a few photos. Unfortunately some of the photos had expired. Will have a look at the other half tomorrow!

That's just wishful thinking Meep . . . full hair, gamine face, come-to-bed eyes

Sadly we can't look like Jessica Rabbit-esque, but I think we're all far more beautiful in the flesh than a small avatar! (Although I do love the avatar yola, did you draw it or find it online?)

Some of the pictures have expired? Didn't know that; it's going to take a while to scroll thru 40 pages to see who's missing.......

sorry, yola. i really am under the stairs. one day, i'll take a pic to prove it :P i only come out from under here to either go shopping or to go home to bed!

as to my photo, i should tell you all i'd had my hair washed, cut, dried and straightened, and a fair bit was cut off, cos it had millions of split ends and was dry at the bottom. i have a horrible habit of only getting my hair cut once a year. but really, my hair is wavy, and normally i can't be bothered using either a hair dryer or straighteners.

if you look at my pic properly, you'll notice there's a man's reflection in the window behind my head. that's my friend. he took three pictures of me on his phone.

Hello stitch! Nice to meet you - I was surprised to see that you look so very like a friend of mine! Thanks for posting your picture. I think it's much better to be able to picture whose post I am reading, although I love the idea of us all in the images of our cat/s!
