Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Could you make a low carb meringue thingy? Dont eat it myself, but if it was sweet it might be worth trying.

Yes you can use the egg whites and splenda to make a meringue thing, they taste quite nice but look very odd....lol

9 stone 5.5lbs today

breakfast - lemon custards - I will look like one soon
lunch - half a very very hard avocado and some prawn salad
dinner - lamb meatballs with tomato sauce and roasted veg

snacks - munchy seeds
also a colleague at work brought in the bottom tier of her wedding cake so I had a tiny slice of that.

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Still 10 stone 1.

Had custard for breakfast (although the custard was more light scrambled custard as it was going like scrambled egg - dont know why. Some liquid some lumpy bits euuuchhhh - but I didnt have time to make anything else so had to eat it - lumps and all).

Had three slices of ham and some coleslaw for lunch.

No dinner as yet (although had small bite of Emma's cake).

Had fruit squash all day (except one cup of tea that was made for me when I got to work).

Think those custard ingredients do something to my tummy so might be lighter tomorrow

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Oh dear shame about the custards, you should try a lower heat, I have found before if the heat is too high it sort of makes creamy scrambled egg. Also when it starts to thicken I use a balloon whisk and whisk it until it is a bit thicker then remove it from the heat.

I reckon you going up a 1lb is due to water retention, I am having a bit of that at the moment, hopefully by next week I will be a lb or so lighter
