Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

That is good!! just think how much a stone would be in say sugar or lard ??? Oh I get the odd craving now and again but I do find low carbing fairly easy, and we are both losing weight at the moment, it won't be long until you can add some more items into your diet and increase the carb levels a bit, like fruit and wholemeal pasta, potatoes.

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

9 stone 6.5lbs today...lol suffering from a bit of water retention from those peanuts yesterday I reckon

I have done a shepherds pie today (lamb mince) and instead of using potato as a topping I am going to use mashed swede and butternut squash. Nice low carb alternative

I had a thought yesterday also about sauces for fish as I had some Tartar sauce yesterday with my scampi and it was only 3g per 100g, thought it would go quite nice on Salmon or Cod etc.

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Well I have had an ok day today

Breakfast was coconut custard
lunch was cheese and biscuits
dinner was that lovely shepherds pie with carrots and some peas.

Made another batch of lemon custards, some of which I have put in the freezer

So what did you have in the end for your dinner?

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Yes Carrs cheese melt biscuits I think they are about 4 carbs per biscuit and I had 4 lol They are the lowest carb biscuit for cheese I could find in a Supermarket, I have them as a treat now and again

Lemon custards for breakfast, egg mayo and lettuce for lunch and Duck legs for dinner tomorrow.

I have had quite a bit of water today.

When are you going to weigh yourself again?

Re: Dieting/Low Carbs

Just checked on the Carrs cheese melts they are 2.6 carbs per biscuit, so they are quite good.

Back to 9 stone 5.5lbs today so that lb has finally gone, I hope lol
