Re: What are you having for your dinner tonight?

I am SNOWBOUND today!! We have had hardly any snow this Winter, but a big nor'easter came up the coast yesterday and dumped a seasons worth of snow: 6 to 10"!! I am NOT a Winter person; stuck indoors, buses in the neighborhood not running so will comfort myself tonight with ham and cabbage with potatoes, carrots and leeks with pickled beets on the side...and my usual ciabatta roll.

Well - I finally got to the allotment for the first time in 2006 today.
Sooooooooooooooo, we're having venison casserole with celeriac mash, purple sprouting, leeks and spinach (well leaf beet), all vegetables fresh picked today! It will be extra special.
