Ok, back from the vets. The news isn't good. The leg problem it seems is the least of her problems. She has damaged her achilles tendon(well the feline equivalent) but the vet says it is causing her no pain. She seems to have a 'mass' in her bowel, looks like a probable tumour. She has to go back on Tuesday for a 'second' opinion as the vet is not 100% certain and wants another vet look at her.

She has had a steroid jab to help with the leg problem....

Oh Fran, I am so sorry to hear about lucky. I hope the mass isn't a lymphoma (this is what Lucy had when she started loosing weight and nothing she ate was absorbed and she kept being sick all the time) I think at this time her eating as much as she wants to is very important.
