Tilly from one that has has the discectomy (that went dreadfully wrong) I'm glad you dont need the op. What pain clinic are you going to? There are two types as I have been to both. One is teaching you to live with pain and how to avoid it. The other is run by a pain specialist. Who can administer steroid injections ect. |

I am going to see they type of pain clinic that tries to cure the pain first and if that doesn't work then I will be referred to the one that teaches you to live with the pain. Sally |

Sorry forgot there's actually 3 types. I went to the one your going to. They are really good. Offer acupuncture and all kinds of meds. Everything crossed for you. One thing going in your favour, no nerve compression. |
