My daft old Balie used to smell of wee when he took to sitting in the litter tray. I was a bit more brutal and stuck him in the shower with some medicated cat shampoo I would say, considering Merlin's delicate post-op state warm water would suffice for now. Delighted to be reading he's home. Big, but gentle hugs to him |

So glad he's home! I think I'd just use warm water on a face cloth or similar, it'll make him feel better I'm sure. Alternatively you can get dry shampoo which we use at the practice for in-patients, it's a lot less stressful than a full bath! |

Warm face flannel I think you may find he has sat in his litter try in the vets or wee'd himself while under sedation. Cleo did this I just wiped her down wih a damp flannel round her back legs "trousers" and the nunderside of her tail to the end. |
