Rover is no more. He lost some of his appetite at the beginning of the month, went to the vet who thought he was fine until she discovered a tumor the size of a grapefruit in his abdomen. He was operated on today but didn't make it past the operating table. At the moment all I can do is cry and what hurts most at the moment is probably that he had to die hungry. : / He was such a trencher-cat. |

I cannot say how sorry I am; Rover was a very special boy; well loved to all of us who knew him. The Chronicles were always looked forward to with a smile ... We've missed his stories; thank you for taking the time to let us know of your loss; RIP dear boy, run free at the Bridge; and I'm sure there's food and catnip there aplenty!
