A tad off topic....but that reminds me of a story in, I think it was Cats of Punchbowl Farm, about a family whose cat had injured her paw. She would come and look at them plaintively holding the paw up in the air and, of course, get lots of fussing and cuddles. And she continued doing that for years whenever she wanted attention, but as time went by she forgot and would hold up THE WRONG PAW!! |
