Re: New kitchen - works in progress

Builder was obviously being optimistic!!

Are you all sick of my updates???

Oh well, soon be finished - to date I have all wall cabinets up, all worktops and base units (although some have no doors). The cornice and pelmets are half done. The appliances although in the right place etc cannot be used just yet due to technical difficulties (lack of socket for one, lack of vent for another and lack of whatever for the other!!). Sink all fitted. Bought the flooring yesterday but he doesnt want to put that down till all appliances have been finally put into place.

Struggling to find suitable wall tiles.

I'm not sick of your updates I wait for them and am sure it will be fine sooner rather than later now - it will be perfect when it is finished and well worth it. Honest

Re: New kitchen - works in progress

Beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! But want my house back!! There is a man that seems to have moved in!!!

I have food and cutlery and pots and pans in the bathroom, I have to stand two feet away from the bathroom sink to brush my teeth, I have a huge pile of dirty washing in my bedroom, I have food in bags in my dining room, ...

the list is endless.. that is what I am finding hard...

But all will be worthwhile and a distant memory before long...

It will fade into distant memory within a few minutes of you being 'handed the key' to your fabulous new domain.
Looking forward to the pics!
(and how are the cats coping without their wonderful activity centre?)
