I am still wondering whether there is an internal tray or if you take the whole top off and have to wash the bottom half out. I realise it's probably lightish plastic, but it could be quite bulky to handle.

I notice in the description that it can also be used as a bed.

I refuse to buy any more cat beds! They're never used; my bed is the bed of choice. I guess I should correctly say our bed...
