Ted is only2 1/2.I also have her sister Bug and both were handreared,so are very dear to me.They all are dear but these two are special.Shes eating a little so its just fingers crossed that she can pick up.Bugs knows shes not well and is never far from her. They are extremly close as in all honestly they should not of survived as babys. But they did and proved the vets wrong, however because of there dreadfull start ,they only weight 5 1/2 pounds and thats the 2 together so the big weight lose from Ted has been worrying to say the least.will let you know how she goes |

Great news!!! We can bring Cassie home this afternoon!! Sam, sounds like Ted and Bug were really lucky to have you see them through their difficult start in life and it sounds like they are very close, that's so sweet. Glad to hear Ted has started to eat a bit. I was talking to the vet this morning and she said they've been tempting Cassie with pilchards or sardines in tomato sauce and she's been nibbling at that more than the chicken. Might be worth a try with Ted?? Let us know how things go. |

She's home!!!!! She's very quiet and tired and also seems very jumpy at any noise. Have tried to give her a little bit of food, she seems keen to eat but just turns away from it. Have to give her antibiotics twice a day and appetite boosters twice a day. She is far from being my 'old' Cassie but I'm sure we'll get there shortly. We have to take her back to the vet on Tuesday for a check. It's great having her back home though! |
