Well maybe not offically I was taken to the police station. Because I was fishing my shoe out of the fountain in the town centre............I was slightly drunk and had earlier been spoken too because my shoe was thrown into a tree by some lads as a joke and I could not get it out. A few passing soldiers Irish Guards as it happens, climbed the tree to get it out.....You may ask how people got my shoes -easy I often took my shoes off to walk when slightly worse for wear. I was 19 at the time. I ended up going out with one of the soldiers and we became engaged too.

Oh the policeman wa laughing when he took me...and that was in the best interest of my shoes.
