An ex work colleague of OH's is a cat lover and has kept all the ashes of his cats over the years in various wooden boxes. He has written in his Will that the ashes should be scattered with his in due course. I rather like that idea - a bit like many ancient traditions where favourite animals were buried with their owners. |
