So sorry to hear about your Dad, Tink. Your family are in my thoughts and I'm sending strong, calm vibes to you all. What a brill idea re a baby weight poll ....... my OH weighed over 10lbs, so fingers crossed you have a big strong girl. |

Sending prayers for your dad Tink, I'm sure the thought of meeting his granddaughter will keep him going and give him an incentive to recover as quickly as possible. And as for weight, I'm going with 7lb 6 |

Thank you ladies for your thoughts. I'm gonna guess 8lbs10oz (my birth weight! haha) Dad is off the ventilator and breathing on his own and having periods of awareness (eyes open). However, no signs of recognition or response to voice commands. I'm hoping his brain just needs more time and he will show response soon. On a lighter note, Baby Eva was kicking the life out of me the last few weeks but now she has discovered her HANDS and is punching me nice and low...haha. Oh. And the last two weeks I've somehow become gigantic. Eek! How is this belly gonna grow for 12 more weeks, I don't know. I feel I may explode  |

That's positive news about your dad Hopefully he will come on leaps and bounds now.Eva sounds as if she is going to be a handful and is just getting you ready early  x |

congrats this is our little girl she's now 1. Eating Angel Delight with your hands isn't a good idea. She was 7lb 8   And two of the cats somewhere they shouldn't be!   |

Fancy, your little one's adorable...xoxo Hey, ladies. Just wanted to let you know Dad has been making little baby steps. He has moments of being coherent and talking and can wiggle his fingers and toes now. Actually was able to give my Mom a kiss today which she is over the moon about. I plan on visiting him this weekend. Me, my body is aching so badly. I don't know how my back is going to handle me getting any bigger..argh. This seems to happen to me though. Feel really bad for a few days then I adjust and I feel better. Maybe these are little growth spurts? Two more sleeps till we get to see the baby on u/s again.... |
