Re: Childrens TV Programmes

Yes JM - there was a Trumpton clock!!! I have all 3 (Trumpton, C. Green and Chigley) on DVD ostensibly for my 3 1/2 year old but tbh I spend ages watching them AND Bagpuss AND Mary, Mungo and Midge (girl, dog and mouse who live in a flat in a 'town'). Narrated by Richard Baker, ex-newsreader.

Moving on a bit, to when I was about 10 - does anyone remember 'The Changes'? It was about a girl who lives through society's rejection of technology. Compelling, frightening and dealing with some very adult subjects all in a kids programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/classic/changes/intro.shtml
