Re: New member of the family??

Karen, do you know what color it was, and the general shape of the flowers? Would be great fun to see if we can figure out what it is...!

Re: New member of the family??

No I can't remember any of that - sorry I just passed it every time I went I will have like you all to wait and see if he survives.

I'll ask my Mom and Aunt though they may at least recall the colour.

Will be interesting though waiting for him.

Karen

Re: New member of the family??

Went today to try and work out the best way to dig him out spent an hour at it and have eventually figured out his roots are caught up with a plant that used to climb up the front wall of the house, and a large holly - not sure if it is worth trying to move him or wait and as we know the chap buying the house when he has the drive done bloack paved etc and building work done he will have a JCB there and ask him to try to ease it out with that. Otherwise we could do more harm than good. So at the moment he is still there.

Re: New member of the family??

Translate for me: JCB? Sort of a backhoe thingy? Get the drift; shame it can't be done now; will just have to wait...when is this work being done at the house?

Re: New member of the family??

A big digger - someone find me a picture.

Not sure when the whole house sale is up in the air the legal side moves slowly when the owner is in care. But the rose is safe.
