Re: any news on c-fur

My Bunty went missing one time, just after firework night - my other half accidentally let her out at dusk. She went missing for two weeks - and she is my 'best girl' ... I was out every night calling and calling. I put posters up in the train station (they allowed me to) and on lamp posts, contacted all the usual people - but nothing.

Then one afternoon, I had just got in from my usual hunt for her, and I was sitting in the living room (feeling sick to the pit of my stomach without her) and for some reason I got up and went to the dining room - and there she was!!! Outside the patio doors!! I could not believe it!!!

She was absolutely fine except she was thirsty and rather thin - and she stayed sat on my lap for about two hours after having some food and water. I reckon she must have been shut in a shed - so maybe the same has happened here - might be worth going round asking peeps to check their sheds.

She still doesn't like loud noise or banging noise to this day - but don't give up hope - she will come home.

Re: any news on c-fur

I have been round the neighbours and the local farm, checked his out buildings and all about. Just have to hope that he does return. Thirsty and hungry would be fine with me as long as he comes home.

oh just one thing, not sure if you tried pulling on people's ehart strings, but when our cats have done thier walkabouts I've printed on the posters " much loved child's pet"
seems to get a better response for some reason!

Hope you find him real soon

Re: any news on c-fur

I actually put on the poster that he was Ceilidh's cat. Which is true, and that she's only 4.

The boys arn't really bothered. Well at 15, 18 and 22 they have other things on there minds
C-Fur is Ceilidh's cat and slept with her every night. She did say she could hear him crying the other night but couldnt find him. I think she was dreaming.

Re: any news on c-fur

Jac you didn't have any work done in the house about the time he went missing did you? E.g. bathpanel taken off, floor boards lifted? Have you checked loft space and any cellars you might have?
