Re: Sashimi's litter.

Today's are mostly of Sushi, because she's been exploring a lot and coming out of the basket (well, out from behind the basket where they've now decided they want to live - I think Wasabi's fallen in love with Hippie's old skateboard ) on her lonesome to trundle around the dining room!

Sushi meets the scratching post (that's Hippie's hand, he had my phone and I had the camera and we were both snapping away like mad!).

Wasabi and Ke-ki await her return with bated breath!

Sushi on the wah-wah pedal Can you tell what a little fluff-butt she is?

Sushi again, this time investigating my stocking.

A GIANT DOG!
Random was giggling - that's his slipper, and his foot was in it!

Kobu, wondering what his mother is doing there (sorry it's so blurry, I didn't have time to wait for the camera to focus on owt else than the hanging toy!).

I have more, but photobucket is apparently doing site maintenance, so I'll have to come back to show you the rest (including an adorable close-up of Kobu) later... Enjoy!

You should come for coffee sometime - see if your shoelaces survive

At the moment they're still spending the majority of their time in (or behind) the basket. Every once in a while one or two of them venture out - we've had as many as 3 out as once (Sushi, funnily enough, was the one who stayed in that time) and as few as just one.

At least once a day we hear the pitterpatter of little feet on the laminate flooring (and boy do they look funny, especially Kobu who just can't get his head round the concept of "slippery" )... But the vast majority of the time they're still staying in. Sashimi's tried a few times to get them to follow her, but they get distracted and go do something else, and by the time one of them reaches where she wanted them to go it's time to gather them all up again, go back to the nest and lick them clean while they nurse.

But they're growing like possessed - even Random's noticed they get bigger every day And we've pretty much decided to keep all of them... We've just gotten attached to all four, plus I keep thinking of Ninja and Dishrag (my old cat who got thrown out of a car) and worrying that someone who might seem nice would be mean to them somewhere down the line... So we'll just have five cats.

It's a hard life...
