Well, if he hasn't got a chip (and therefore an identifiable home to return to) it would seem only fair for his new owner to consult you at the christening!

It's hard to name a too-skinny cat though - it took about a week before I decided on "Amber" for my long-haired cat - and I was never entirely happy with that, because it's too sweet a name for a puss who developed real CAT-ittude once she'd bulked out to her proper weight and got her paws firmly under the table: Rug suits her far better, even if it is silly

"The naming of cats is a difficult matter..."

Hope you catch him OK later! - cats seem to have a psychic sense when you call them sometimes...
