Don't need a picture, did what I should have done and Googled it...it's what I thought it probably was. If this drags out until Spring, you could try taking some cuttings from the old bush ........

It sounds a bit like heavy work there Kazz, I would wait for some mechanical help
When we sold my Dad's house when he went into care, the whole process took about 8 months! We did have the Court of Protection involved in it though.....
