Yesterday's blood test shows early kidney failure. She has to have medication to reduce blood pressure in her kidneys, for a month and then another blood test, and a low-protien diet. She looks absolutely fine and is behaving normally (and swearing at the babies) so i hope this regime will set her on the right route to living to 100! |

Forgot to say that the 'cat-spa' drinking fountain has arrived. She finds it very interesting and relaxing to watch but I haven't seen her drinking from it yet! |

I bet she'll have a go when you're not looking . Sorry to hear about the onset of kidney failure but as you know very well - Min can still have a long and happy life ahead of her even with the condition!! |

As you've said to me I believe at least twice "You spoil that cat she'll never make old bones" A water fountain I ask you ................ you'l be getting her food next........ Glad she's okay even if the results show a slight illness it appears kidney trouble seems to be the main illness of older cats, |
