Re: I'm back...

That does look like a nice apartment, and both you and all the furries seem well settled. Fall color is just gorgeous, and I love the pics of Hestia and Solly at the window; good to see you and Trin too! That deer is amazingly close, are you near some woods?

Wow that looks really really nice, like as been said "a lot easier to manage" and being closer to the centre has to be good.

Re: I'm back...

Thanks, guys!
Yes, this place is loads easier for me to manage and keep. I just love it and feel relieved. That house had lots of memories but also was difficult to keep up in its state.
Eileen, we weren't by the woods..would you believe we were in a movie theater parking lot? I told Trin I wanted to take some pix of the leaves before we went inside to buy tickets and just as I pulled out my camera this deer just walked right up to our car and stood there for me. I took those from the passenger seat!!
And, yes, I am soooo much closer to everything now. I don't feel nearly as anxious about driving. I hardly ever have to take a highway now, I can get to almost anything I need just by side streets that are simple. And even if I couldn't drive I am a walk away from the bus stop just down the road. Having a 24 hour grocery store and food nearby and the bank...ahh, heaven. The country is nice in its own ways but I love the convenience of being in the city. Plus, there's still enough greenery around for it to not be all cement and asphalt. Best of both worlds!

Re: I'm back...

I know what you mean, Tink; in my former house I could walk to almost everything plus the bus stop was a half block away ... and the woods two blocks away. Heaven!

Re: I'm back...

Interesting pics, even though I'm not sure what a few of the first ones are!! That's a humongous teddy bear, and as ever, good to see Solly and Kuan Yin. Are you experimenting with a new camera?

Re: I'm back...

Your second photo has me guessing too Tink, but I love the one of the lamp-post and of course Solomon and Kuan Yin looking good.

It's great to see that you are giving expression to your artistic side - keep it up!
