Re: What are you having for your dinner tonight?

We had bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette last night. Not sure what's on the menu for tonight yet...

That omelet sounds delicious! I'm having linguini with pesto, salad & a roll tonight.

Thought I'd posted last night but it seems to have vanished in cyberspace! Had Tuscan bread soup and salad last night; tonight was shrimp shiu mai with 2 dipping sauces, baby limas & kim chi.

Hoping to get a nice leg of lamb. Since BH is away on a course ,and won't be back until late, I'm trusted with the Sunday roast for a change. Roasted with rosemary and garlic. Roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, red wine with it.

Would you believe I've never had leg of lamb! My Dad didn't like it so didn't have at home; cooking for myself it would be ridiculous!! But I do love lamb shish kebob!! Tonight will be broiled swordfish steak with herb butter, curried potatoes and baby limas (no fresh peas at market )

Re: What are you having for your dinner tonight?

We eat left-over lamb for a few days, since there are only the two of us and Rover. There will be lamb sandwiches here for tea, if I can remember to bake before then. Sunday Roast is so heavy and large that we only eat sandwiches Monday.
You can always freeze it in slices, though. Very good for packed sandwiches.

Dinner out plans had to be rescheduled, so reverted to Monday "no cook"...ham & mozzarella sandwich, ships, broiled portobello & cauliflower.

Had cheese fondue & salad tonight; that's usually a Winter dish but it's been unseasonably cool lately, so why not?
