thanks Julie. Lilly's spay site was a bit fluidy around the edges, but it turned out she's had a rupture near the spay and had to have a GA to repair it. So her neat little spay wound is now a huge mess. She's happy again now though. I will get some kitten food to you soon Julie.

PS - Can you post some photos of your cats? The catsey folk would love to see them. Do you ahve a digital camera?

Any time for an update S?
I hope no reports over the last couple of days mean that things are still improving, even if it is slowly

Re: Bluebell is poorly

She's like a different cat now!
She is purring like a steam train, eating like a horse, and generally very well in herself. Blood tests are ok, urine sample now good, she's still on lots of drugs but we just have to finish the treatment now & wean her slowly off the diazapam.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

It seems the most likeley is that she has been kicked.

Good news! But kicked? How awful, hard to believe someone would do that, but there are a lot of sick, sick people out there...... give her a cuddle from me.

Thats super news to hear that she is well on the road to recovery and nearly back to normal, that is such a cruel thought to think that any body could kick a cat like that, but like DM has said there is alot of sick people out there

Re: Bluebell is poorly

Cats appear to be "open game" for people and people seem to have a hate them or love 'em attitude...to cats. And do crueler things than they would to dogs, maybe because they roam.

Poor old Bluebelle, they were very lucky whoever kicked her that John was not around. She is very trusting though, that is always a worry isn't it. Better to be a bit aloof or stay at home.
