sounds to me like the best solution and will probably make her relax more.Some mums can be a little odd when they only have one kitten as can become very protective.Good luck and i hope he helps

It's a he Moli, I have been looking for a few weeks, blue cats seem to be so rare and I only wanted blue or Bengal. I would have waited for a Bengal but Maud was more important and we really felt we needed to act on this. The only other option was to let Claude go to another home and let her go cold turkey but he is soooo adorable I just couldn't do it. The reason I asked about coat genetics was since he is male I may keep Maud entire and let her have a litter to him when he is old enough. So many people want blue cats and there are so few, I had a real fight on my hands to get one and I am not kidding.

Forgot to say Moli he is eight weks old, two weeks older than Claude, but to look at them they are very similar in size and I would say Claude is a little more advanced than him but Claude has been an only one so it probably will make a difference

I had the same problem when I was looking for Merlin..I wanted an exotic..but a blue one..Merlin had been booked by someone and they changed their minds..so it was meant to be...I love blue cats....
