Wheels in motion

Well, I've done it.
Did it the chicken way and e-mailed 2 local Cats Protection branches, looking for my 2 boy kittens of which at least one must be ginger...................
(Didn't phone a) because it is the festive season and I don't know if they'd appreciate a call, and b) because I am very suggestable and might have been talked into taking a 'hard luck story'...........might very well have actually! )

So, we shall see.............................. Watch this space I guess!

Re: Wheels in motion

Wish you were nearer to me

Good luck - my branch have been closed over Christmas (well just an answer phone for emergencies) I think ours reopens about 3rd / 4th Jan.

Re: Wheels in motion

Maybe you can put in a good word for me Smudgley!

Mmm, yes. I wasn't expecting an instant response and I said in the email that I wouldn't expect to hear from them, unless it suits them, till after new year. The one branch (a little further from me, but no distance really) said on their site that they have a litter of 8 which will not be rehomed over xmas, so maybe my boys are there!
I'll have to go back to thinking of names.......................

I have yet to meet/see one that isnt HUGE and slow paced
Hope you hear some news soon

That's it Luke. I've always wanted a big ginger tom - the fates never threw me one! I suppose as we've only had a total of 5 (2 still here) in 33 years, it's not sooooo suprising that a ginger never appeared. So, we've had B&W, all black, tabby & white, dark tortie and blue point - 2 gingers or 1 ginger, one grey would make a fine set!

DM - some of the CP branches don't regularly check their email . . . might be worth a follow up call early in the new year if you haven't heard . . . and good luck with the kitten hunt

Ahh i've had the big lumbering ginger, and a big lumbering ginger and white. both are cats whom i remain most fondest of!! A ginger kitten and a grey/grey&white kitten would suit your house lovely DM!
